Think mobile-first when organizing your web content.

Until you do, you’re throwing away time and money and losing sales and signups.

Start here: Stop writing linear narrative text. Stop assuming your viewer will start at the top and follow your line of thought down the page until they find a CTA (call to action).

I don’t have the time or energy to write a dissertation that backs up this bold statement I’m making. That’s the honest truth. I’ve been recovering from a bad virus for a month and it’s not over yet.

Which means I have just enough time to share what I’ve learned and give you what you need to turn this around.

(Not sure yet? Test it for yourself. Check your site visitor device stats. In fact, test yourself. Where are you engaging as a consumer? What makes you linger on a website? What makes you bounce?)

(One more aside: AI-generated copy is proliferating. It’s gonna be really weird —already is. Now’s a really good time to stand out with your actual words.)

Start here: For a million reasons, we humans consume information and make buying decisions by scanning. Save your linear narratives for articles (like this one) or for your blog. Maybe on your About page, but even then… 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe not so much.

Unless you’re getting all the traffic, opt-ins, and sales you’d like from your website and socials, please…
